Summer activities for at home Part 1

Well, it's been a while since I went back to school after lockdown. Finally, tomorrow will be the last school day before my long awaited 6-weeks summer holidays in which I will use my leisure to relax and pursue my hobbies, before I'll start with my next school year.
Also worth mentioning is my 24th birthday on July 15th. Unfortunately, I won't be able to celebrate because I will stay in rehabilitation for 4 weeks from July 13th. What a pity, I actually wanted to spend time with friends on this day, instead I'll use my time to relax on this day.

Anyway, I didn't want to talk too much about this, so I will change the subject a little bit.
Of course, in holidays you always want to spend time with friends as much as you can, have adventures and maybe you travel to foreign countries. But on some days, there is no opportunity for this. So you have to come up with something. Here's a short list of some at-home-activities :)

1. Online gym

For some weeks (since lockdown), I use an online gym. I think it's really practitcally, because I don't have much opportunities to visit a "real" gym, because my boarding school where I'm passing my A-Level is in the middle of nowhere. I think it's not only good for people who live far away from a gym or who are in quarantine, but there are many advantages. For example, you don't have to take a walk until you are in gym, where you lose a lot of time, and you can start to every hour of the day, whenever you want.
But unfortunately I have to admit, that it has also a big disadavantage: you have to trainers and no equipments around you.
Because I want to lose some weight (I mean, which girl doesn't want to?😇), so my resolution is doing sports at least three times a week.
What are your weekly sport routines? Do you have special resoulutions in holidays? Or is it too hot for you to do sports in summer? Write in comments!

2. books

I really read a lot. So my best friends when I'm alone are... BOOKS. So here are some examples I can recommend:

Game of Thrones

A Song of Ice and Fire - A Wiki of Ice and Fire

First I started with the series some years ago. Now, about 4 years later, I decided to start reading the books. And I'm not dissapointed! Much better than the series, more details (of course), interesting characters and a well written storyline. I guess, you all know what it is about, so I think I don't have to sum it up.

After you

This book continues the world wide bestseller "Me before you". I didn't read the first book, but I watched the movie before, so I didn't think it was necessary to read the book, too. The second book is also very emotional, exciting and well written. I won't sum it up either, because some of you might don't know what the first book is about, so I don't want to spoil 😉.

Write in the comments, if you've got some other tips or what kind of genre you prefer!

I will also post a second part of this post in the next time (probably not the next post, but I will see).

Before, I already made a list to pass the corona virus, and I think it's still current. Click on the link if you wish!
